I get excited when I finish a project. I only work on one knitting project at a time. I can't say the same for quilting.
The Twirl Legwarmers and fingerless mitts are done.
The picture doesn't do the color justice. It is a little more purple than what you see. Although the leg warmers look incredibly long, it is more my picture taking (lack of) skills.
On my needles now is a cardigan for me!!! I have never been successful knitting sweaters that fit well. I mentioned in a previous post Amy Herzog's Custom Fit program.
The back is cast on and I have completed about 5 inches. I am using a Lorna's Laces Shepherd Sport on size 4 needles.
I will be breaking my knitting rule about one project at a time since Camp Loopy will be starting June 1.
I am off to visit Judy's to see what others are working on.
Your sweater yarn is beautiful! And I do like those fingerless mitts. Leg warmers sure would be nice during the winter, too! Just lovely.
ReplyDeleteThe yarn was nice to work with. Thank you
Deletebeautiful yarn for the sweater and nice leggings.
ReplyDeleteI love your sweater yarn - gorgeous color. And I love CustomFit - I've finished two sweaters for myself that fit absolutely perfectly using CustomFit - one for Cardipalooza and the other her Shore Ledges pattern.
ReplyDeleteI know I won't finish on time but I am so hopeful that it will fit. I have seen the sweaters you have made and they are beautiful. PS See you around Camp Loopy. I am in Glamper 5
DeleteYour legwarmers and mitts are wonderful. Love the color of your cardigan. I haven't brought myself to try CustomFit yet. I can't wait to see your progress.
ReplyDeleteThank you.. I will keep you posted on the sweater progress.
DeleteYou're making some fun things! Love those leg warmers - my granddaughters would love them too :) Enjoy Camp Loopy!
