Stash Report Week 17

Yikes!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I have been away from blogging for what seems like forever.  I thought I had the flu but have been having fatigue problems for the past few weeks.  There was very little sewing, stitching, knitting, cooking--you name it, it wasn't getting done!!!

But my grandchildren had birthdays this month and their request were soft aka flannel pillowcases.  There are four new very soft pillowcases on the table.

My numbers for this week look like this:

Fabric in the week:  0 (too tired to go shopping!!)
Fabric out this week:  5.5 yards (yeah pillowcases)
Fabrin in YTD:  22  7/8
Fabric out YTD:  49.75

I hope I can wake up this week and spend some time at my machine.

Yarn Goodness

Yarn and fabric make me happy!!  There are two knitting challenges I want to participate in.  One is the Loopy Ewe's 2nd quarter challenge.  I have never done stranded work so I chose what I hope is a good beginner pattern--Easy Fair Isle headband.  The yarn I will use is Madelinetosh Vintage in Silver  Fox and Stargazing.

Those are the two hanks you see in the lower right corner.  The blue stargazing has differnet shades of blue with a little green.

The second challenge is Madelinetosh Lover's MadMay.  I was more than ambitious when ordering yarn.  Chances are I will be lucky to finish one project.  But I do have plans for all of the yarn you see.  Starting from the left is Madelinetosh Merino Light in Afternoon Tea (a peachy pink), Sequoia and Blue Gingham.  Afternoon Tea and Blue Gingham are to make Irish Girlie Knits Summer Wind cowl.  The Sequoia is for Goldilocks Fingerless Mittens.  This will be my 2nd MadMay project.

The pink yarn is Madelinetosh Vintage in Posy.  I have selected a new cardi for Little Miss M, Tiny Tea Leaves.

To the right of Posy is Tosh Vintage in Vermillion.  This will be for my firts MadMay project, Cabernet infinity scarf.

The gigties on the lower left are from the Loopy Ewe.  Their boxes of fun are delightful.

Stash Report Week 14

Very little sewing this week.  I was able to work a little on my Return to Square One Mystery.  Little M and Mr. TAM have requested new "soft" aka flannel pillowcases for their birthdays this month.  Of course I didn't have the "right" flannel thought it would be a good idea to support my LQS with a wee purchase.

In this week:  4 1/8 yards
Out this week:  0
In YTD:  22 7/8
Out YTD:  44 1/4
