- Cowl in a multi-colored Fingering weight .: I used Blue Moon Fiber Art Socks that Rock lightweight in Tea and Alchemy. The pattern is Irish Mesh Cowl.
- Hat from a designer new to you, in a Sport or DK weight. Shibui Baby Alpaca in Bordeaux and the pattern is Whitman.
- Mittens in a solid or semi-solid colorway in a Worsted weight. I used Lorna's Laces Shepherd Worsted in Cermak. The pattern is Irish Hiking Mittens. I have never made mittens but this won't be the last time.

Loopy Academy Semester 1 and Off the Needles
I was a little late "matriculating" for Loopy Academy. I had hoped to finish on time--December 31 but I needed a little extension. My 3 projects for Semester 1 are done! And I am very pleased with my finishes.
Freshman Year, First Semester Assignments (each project needs to use at least 175 yards):

All your finishes are just wonderful. I love your mittens and printed that pattern to try. The Irish cowl is also on my "to do" list. What size needles did you use for the cowl with the fingering yarn. The pattern says size 7 needles?
ReplyDeleteGood job on all those projects. You surely deserve and A+!
