It has been a slow knitting week. The brown hat I showed last week is finished and packed away for the Soup Kitchen Christmas Lunch.
I will be giving the cowl to my daughter next week.
At the moment I have been spending more time on applique. But I will be casting on a sport weight yarn for a swatch. I am determined to make a sweater that fits.
This is the Gap-tastic Cowl. The yarn is Malabrigo Mecha Candombe. The yarn was wonderful to work with. It has a very rich luxurious feel. I would love to use it again.
It's been a while since I knit anything with Malabrigo - I need to make sure to do that soon! The cowl is really pretty - I love the bits of color!
