Not much progress on my socks. But at class last night we decided to start a sock club! At least I will have one dedicated knitting time for socks each week.
I did knit a sample for the shop using Malabrigo. I knit 5 inches of several different patterns. That is where my knitting time went. Once the sample is done and goes to the shop we get "paid" with a skein of the yarn. This is part of the sample.
And this is yarn that is now part of my stash.
My next sample swatch will be knit with Ella Rae Cozy Soft.
The pattern on the afghan block is beautiful. I like the baubles in it too. The sample you knitted is very pretty, especially the combination of colors in the yarn. Your knitting is lovely!

ReplyDeleteYour sample is beautiful. Love the colors of your "stash payment yarn". That is a good deal for payment. Wish one of our shops did something similar.
