OMG Finish
I completed the Dressed for Dinner block I was working on. I am a little disappointed that the embroidery is so subtle. I happy to participate in Elm Street Quilt's One Monthly Goal.

Farmer's Wife Update
Several years ago I started the Farmer's Wife quilt with a group of friends. I recently opened the tote with the project. I had only finished a few blocks. I completed another 5 blocks to add to my collection.

Finally a Finish OMG
The first three months of this year have been crazy for our family. But life seems to be moving in the right direction at the moment. This is my first goal finish for 2023. I was able to complete the binding on Vintage Rouge. I need a better photo but I am happy with my finish. I am off to see how my friends at Elm Street Quilts have done this month.

WIP's UFO's PIGS, PhD's
WIP's UFO's PIGS, PhD's --whatever you call them they need to finished!. For the past several years I have participated in Quilting Gail's PhD challenge. I have never completed 12 projects in a year. But the motivation is most helpful. This is my first finish for 2023. (PS Fran, close your eyes.) This is for my sister Fran. I hope she likes it.

January OMG
I had high hopes to complete a pair of mitts using Suzanne Bryan's tutorial. The most difficult was the Tubular Cast On and Bind Off. I did not do well with the BO. But I am not giving up. I will keep practicing. I am going to link up with Elm Street Quilting OMG.

Two Weeks Into the New Year
The one promise I made myself this year—resolution sort of—is to enjoy what I am doing. In the past I have had a tendency to sign up for challenges and mystery projects. My yarn stash needs to be whittled down. And those quilting UFO's need to be completed.
My first hat for 2023.
And a pair of thrummed mittens:

OMG January 2023
A time for fresh starts and new adventures. Participating in Elm Street Quilts OMG (one monthly goal) has helped me focus on projects that I want to finish. It makes me feel energize. My first project for 2023 is to complete Suzanne Bryan's Fingerless Mitts that Fit tutorial. The gauge swatch is complete. Now I have to do the math and make them.
