Jumping into Card Making

I am becoming consumed with making cards.  I have a cricut maker but haven't done much with it.  But the card making bug has bitten me.  I haven't made any yet but I have diving deep into the paper crafting abyss on the internet.

There is a Card Making Success Summit that will go live this Thursday.  After signing up for a free ticket, I treated myself to the upgrade. And I have been watching several of the videos and I am hooked.  

Do any of you have favorite supplies, designers and resources?  What are your favorite techniques?  

What's Going On

 I have recently taken up Cross Stitch again after a 10 year + hiatus.  This is a kit that I purchased several years ago when on vacation.  There is a lovely yarn and needlecraft shop in Cape May NJ, Stitch by Stitch.  The kit is Keeper of the Pins by Little House Needleworks.  Working on the piece reminds me how much I like cross stitch but the best memory is that I visited this shop several times when I was in Avalon NJ with my sister.  I have few if any regrets in life.  I truly believe that everything happens for a reason.  But my one regret is that my sister and I don't live in the same state.

 I am going to continue on with Jardin de Roses and this month I will work on Block 8.  I am going to link up with Elm Street Quilts and see what others are working on this month.
