March OMG Accomplished

 Finishing this lap quilt was my goal and I did it.  I don't think I have ever completed my goals for three consecutive  months.  The pattern is Turning Twenty Again.  I had assembled the blocks 10-15 years ago.  I decided to make two lap size quilts for a charity project.

March Table Topper

 I have been joining The Joyful Quilter's table scrap challenge.  And this month I worked on a Santa Snack Mat from Oma's Place.  It is for the Grandies in Virginia.  I have one more to make for the newest little guy.  

Stash Report Week 11

 I cannot believe how fast this month is speeding by!!! No change in my yarn numbers this week but I am making steady progress on a cabled scarf and a pair of socks.

I did manage to complete a baby charity quilt. My sister gifted me this adorable panel and I used the elephant end to end quilting design from Designs by Juju.  I have used several of the Juju's designs for quilting and have been very happy with each of them.

 Slow and Steady progress this week.  One little finish for charity, a new cast on and steady progress on a cardigan that I started in 2014

Yarn in this week:  388 yards of WEBS Valley Superwash to make Dolores.  I am not a fan of making knitted toys but Dolores has stolen my heart and I think Vivian will LOVE her and her other snazzy outfits.

Stash Report Week 8

 I am not sure where this week went, but I don't seem to have been particularly productive.  But I certainly wasn't bored.  Very little time was spent playing with fabric and I seem to be "tying up" lots of loose ends with my knitting.

There was no change in my fabric numbers. 

As for yarn, I finished two more hats for my Zodiac Crafter Badge for ESK Yarnathon.  Both of these hats are from the Forest Mosaic Hats pattern.

March One Monthly Goal

 I have selected a lap sized quilt to finish this month.  About ten years ago I had pieced a lot of Turning Twenty Again blocks.  I pieced the blocks to make two lap sized quilts.  One is done and ready for a charity donation.  The second one is basted.  It needs quilting and binding.  I have been using my embroidery machine to do the quilting and have been very happy with the results.
