Some knitting progress to report.
 In this week:  2 skeins
I couldn't resist.  They were so pretty on the shelf.  I think they will become rolled brim hats

Out this week:  3 skeins
My first Loopy Ewe Challenge for 2014. The pattern is Green Tea Latte.  I used 2 skeins of Shibui Sock in Tweed and 1 skein of Shibui Silk Cloud in Caffeine.

I am so -o-o looking forward to starting from scratch with the report next week.









On the Needles Friday

I will be taking this project into the new year.  This is a very popular pattern at our LYS.  Most of us who attend drop in knitting on Tuesday mornings have made a least one of Lynn Wilson's Love to Knit Baby Sampler Blanket.  I am using Cascade Yarns Cherub DK.

I am going to visit Judy L's to see what others are knitting.   I always get great ideas when I visit her blog.

Yarn Report

Not a bad week if I do say so myself.  I finished a cowl which I hope to block before Christmas.  My Loopy Challenge yarn arrived on Monday--that added 3 skeins to my stash and the cowl only used one.

The yarn is Shibui Sock in Tweed and the one in the middle is Shibui Cloud in Caffeine.  I am going to visit Judy's site and see what others have added.

The Loopy Challenges are fun.  It makes me try new yarns, patterns and techniques.

This is the same cowl I posted a few weeks ago.  I restarted it 5 times but I think I got it right this time.

Yarn report Week 49

I never got around to reporting my acquisitions last week.  So I will "fess" up.  Not only do I have my Black Friday purchases from Eat, Sleep Knit but I need to add my gift skein that I "won" .  I had a choice of Malabrigo or Squoosh Fiber Arts.  I have never knit with this and thought this would be a good way to try it.  The fiber content is super wash merino, silk and cashmere.  It has a wonderful feel. 

I thought I had a picture of my purchases but it seems to be floating off in the sky somewhere.  So for now I will give my numbers.

Week 49 Stash Report

 I seem to have been very static these past few months.  I finished Return to Square One Medallion and I love it.  I hope to have another finished next week.
