Yipee!!! I have a change in numbers. It has been a long time coming or so it seems.I finally finsihed a HeartStrings Challenge from memorial Weekend. I will be sending it out in a few weeks for quilting and assembling and it will be donated. This is a fun project and uses lots of scraps.

On and (Off) the needles Friday
I have been a knitting machine lately. Camp Loopy is in full swing. I finished project #2--Pine Forest baby Blanket.
Project #3 doesn't start until Aug 1. I will be knitting Devenish by Eileen Casey for my grandaughter. The yarn is Cascade Superwash in Pink rose.
So before I start another project, I hope to finish the Summer winds infinity scarf. I have a little frogging to do. I forgot a yarn over or a decrease--can't seem to find it. But we have a Condo association meeting tonight, so I will take my kntting along. Does anyone dread Condo meetings as much as me? They can be so uncomfortable.

Memorial Day Challenge--finally done
I'm really not a procrastinator. I tend to do tasks in a timely manner as long as you don't count all of my UFO's But one of my favorite quilts to make is the Heartstring Projects. I get to use up lots of fabric and someone gets a nice quilt. Last May, Mollie had a challenge--use a brown string in the center. So many quilts are very frilly and girly and the guys seem to be left out. This challenge was going to change this. Four of the forty eight blocks were completed that Memorial day weekend. But this week I went to work and finished the top, backing and binding. Now off to the quilter.
I love this pattern.

Camp Loopy #2
Camp Loopy porject #2 is done. The yarn is Dream in Color Classy and the color is Butter Peeps. It is a soft yellow with shading of pink. The pattern is a free download on ravelry--Pine forest baby blanket. Now time to move onto project #3. I think I will make a sweater for my grand-daughter. We can knit anything we want as long as we use at least 800 yards!

Rose of Sharon
Hmm-m where to begin! I am kind of new to machine embroidery. My LQS is offering a BOM using Anita Goodesigns' Rose of Sharon. I was trying to use the mega hoop but was having a devil of time. I hope these blocks look better when I start putting the quilt together. I seem to need some major hooping instruction.

Stash Report Week 28
Where oh where have I been??? Certainly not blogging. I haven't finished anything so there has been no change in my numbers. Although I must confess that I am probably going on a little shopping expedition tomorrow. I have wanted to start Crabapple Hill's Berry Picking Party and need to find the perfect background.
