Busy Sunday

I just finished Part 3 of Myra's Mystery Quilt Along.  I have a flock of geese that I tried with Myra's new technique.  It was a little tricky but I did it.  here is a photo of my flock.

Success

I moved two buttons that did not have a code.  It took a few tries but I did it!!!!!  I am off to make my first block for the Fat quarter Star quilt Along.  A girl can never have too many projects to work on.  I wasn't able to add my link to What's in a name on the sweet as cinnamon blog.  Maybe I will try again later.  so much to learn so little time.

Applique and.....

Dawn from Sweet as Cinnamon is asking how we came to our name.  While needleturn applique is my favorite technic or some may say a wee bit of an obsession, I also like to redwork and just about everything from Crabapple.  And knitting.  and sometimes I cook.  And I like tracing our family roots.  There are so many things I like doing.  Oh did I mention machine embroidery!!  And now I am working at blogging.  this is my newest adventure.  My picture taking leaves a lot to be desired but one of my daughters does a wonderful job.  I hope to borrow her talent soon to help with loading images on my site.  I am going back to Dawn's site to read how others "got their names".
