This past month has been a blur with packing, moving and unpacking. I don't remember moving being this overwhelming and stressful. But being 10 years older probably has something to do with it. If it hadn't been for two of our kids, I don't know what the Big Guy and I would have done. K and T were amazing and then some!
I am desperately in need of my routine--knitting, quilting, cooking.
I will miss my large sewing room and settle for using the 2nd bedroom in our apartment.
I can't believe that I haven't posted since June 1. My life is an endless array of boxes and plastic bins. The final push is this week. We move July 10.
I have managed a little knitting and completed the Open Air Shawl.
I have been teaching a machine embroidery crazy quilting class at my LYS. This is the first time I have tried digitizing a pattern. I have learned a lot but still have a long way to go. This is one of the blocks I worked on. It needs some button, beads and charms. The technic for this class was using ribbons and lace to embellish a seam. I need to finish July's block and pack up my sewing room. This month we will work on Free Standing Lace.
