An Internet Gift

I rarely if ever "win" anything.  Scratch tickets are my gift to the state.  Entries at our quilt guild raffles--a gift to the guild.  I never expect to win prizes therefore I am never disappointed.  But I made two tops for the HeartStrings project. It is an awesome way to use up scraps of fabric and make something warm and comforting for someone.

These are the two tops I made.  I sent them off with backing and binding to be completed.  They are so much fun to make.

Apparently my name was drawn and I won!!!!! Two nickel packs and a backing fabric arrived in my mailbox. As soon as I saw the fabric, I thought a disappearing nine patch would be perfect.
